F-Scan Dynamic Gait
Analysis: is a diagnostic tool that helps Dr. Furman evaluate foot pressure, timing,
symmetry,
trajectory force and limb comparison of the foot during walking. The
F-Scan information along with a detailed clinical exam can helpful in the
diagnosis and treatment of biomechanical dysfunction which can lead to foot,
ankle, knee, hip and back pain.

The F-Scan analysis begins by placing wafer thin sensors in the patient's
shoes. The collected information is then analyzed on the computer by Dr.
Furman
The F-Scan Gait Analysis information can be especially helpful in:
- The diagnosis and treatment of long standing foot pain that has been
unresponsive to many different therapies,
- Post foot surgery evaluation of pressure and weight distribution
- Determining orthotic effectiveness,
- Determining leg length difference
- Finding areas of biomechanical compensation
